This multi-activity parc is the ideal destination to start ski touring or get more comfortable in the backcountry. Both available sectors require an easy 3km (1.8 miles) approach. The Enclave sector is a 6-hectare zone of beginner gladed terrain, great for a first run. Next, the Érablière zone has a longer vertical drop of 200m (650’), with an immersive descent through conifers and mature maple trees. Stay overnight onsite to be the first to enjoy fresh tracks in the morning!

Once a downhill ski center, Grande Coulée has come back to life after more than 20 years of closure, offering a new chapter for this historic mountain. The site now features 7 glades, ranging from beginner to advanced, so everyone can find terrain suited to their level. There is even mid-mountain warming hut at the base of a run called Collation (aka Snack in French), which provides a cozy place for a break and a snack! The mountain offers a unique atmosphere, with very snowy old trees at the top, and runs dotted with yellow birch trees, sometimes reminiscent of Japan’s snowy landscapes.
