It is a great spot for quick laps if arriving midday, with four well-marked ascent routes and 95m (312 ft) of vertical drop. It is also the ideal spot to ease into ski touring and get used to natural snow without having to deal with tight trees. The slopes are nice and open dating back from its ski hill days. You can even rent gear on-site! Don\u2019t forget to purchase a $10 access ticket in addition to your FQME membership. The Piments sector offers a relatively short approach and 165 m of vertical. Its mellow pitch makes it a great beginner-friendly zone, perfect for progressing from the open slopes of Mont Hatley and gaining confidence in the glades. \r\nThe Trois Dames sector has a 5 km approach, more vertical (280 m), and steeper, more advanced terrain. The summit view is magnificent\u2014a full 360-degree panorama. On a clear day, you can see Mont Orford, Sutton, M\u00e9gantic, and across the border, Jay Peak and Mount Washington. \r\nThere is also a small access fee ($15) in addition to the FQME membership. The area features two fantastic sectors accessible with your FQME membership only, with no additional fees. \r\nThe Rang St-Paul sector includes a 2.5 km approach and beautiful 160 m (525 ft) runs, great for linking multiple laps. Rang 10, the more accessible option, offers 115 m (377 ft) of vertical and a 3 km ascent\u2014ideal for beginner and intermediate skiers. The mountain features stunning views, and five ski zones suited to all levels. Be sure to pay your access fee in advance, in addition to your FQME membership. \r\n\r\nFrom the parking lot, you\u2019ll start with a long, steady climb into the snow-laden forest near the summit, eventually reaching a winter playground spanning over 580 acres.
